Mielko infused this historic house with the
joy of holiday homecoming while crafting
it in abstract style. Umbers and sepias imbue
warmth, as contrasting textures, shapes, and
shadows abound in shingles, geranium
petals, windows over the lintel, everywhere
you look. Although in Nantucket, the home
could be any city in America where good
architecture is preserved.
